Local footwear retailer North Shoes are celebrating after a triple win at the Footwear Industry Awards.
The company received the awards for Independent Family Retailer of the Year, Ladies Independent Retailer of the Year and was highly commended for Men’s Independent Retailer of the Year.
The awards, which recognise those in the industry who display innovation and forward thinking, alongside traditional sales and business acumen, was held in Birmingham.
The awards are organised by Datateam Business Media for the industry, with the support of the British Footwear Association (BFA), Independent Footwear Retailers Association (IFRA), Society of Shoe Fitters and Footwear Today.
James North, the fifth generation at the head of the company, said they are delighted with the awards. He added: “To win these awards is a huge honour for us and I would like to thank all of our staff, in all three stores, for their continual hard work and effort in providing our customers with good service and well-fitted shoes.”

“ It has given us the confidence to believe we are achieving our aims in providing a quality range of shoes for the whole family, with great customer service in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.”
North Shoes have three stores locally, with shops in Bourne, Stamford and Peterborough. They are members of the Society of Shoe Fitters.
