If competitive prices, great advice, and free delivery and installation are what you’re looking for when it comes to buying electricals, then look no further than Pledgers.
Established in 1945, the Long Sutton electrical store has maintained an excellent reputation in 68 years of trading, with customers buying safe in the knowledge they are getting the complete package.
You don’t have to worry about picking your purchase up, installing it yourself or scratching your head to figure out how it works with Pledgers, as they do it all for you – with delivery, installation and tuition, if necessary, all included in the ticket price.
“There are no hidden extras. The price you see is the price you pay to get it home and working,” explained Gill Wysoczanski, who runs the Market Place store with brothers David and Graham Smith.
It was their late father, Long Sutton’s very own ‘Mr TV’ Maurice Smith, who bought the business from Dick Pledger in 1967, and it remains firmly in the family today.
Priding itself on keeping abreast of the latest technologies, Pledgers sells a range of TVs including Smart TVs with internet access, 3D, LED and LCD, as well as the latest HD recording equipment.
The store also has a large range of washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers and cookers, in addition to smaller electrical appliances such as irons, toasters and vacuum cleaners.
And if that wasn’t enough, shoppers can also visit Pledgers for a world of toys for all ages, including electric and wooden train sets, dolls and crafts and everything for outdoor fun this summer, with paddling pools, sandpits, cricket and football sets and more.
