COUNCIL bosses behind plans to expand Spalding Primary School will be answering questions at a public meeting on Monday.

Lincolnshire County Council says residents will have the chance to have their say over the proposals, which would see the number of pupils on the school roll go from 420 to 630.

A number of residents living near to the school in Woolram Wygate have raised concerns it will make current parking problems worse.

Meredith Teasdale, the county’s assistant director of children’s services, said: “The meeting is being held to look at options for how we can ensure that we have enough school places in the area.

“We have some ideas about how we can best ensure there are sufficient places but want to hear what residents think and discuss the issues with them.

“We can also confirm that there won’t be detailed plans available as there is a lot of work yet to be done before we have a final plan.”

The meeting will be at the school and starts at 7pm.
