Residents at St John’s care home in Spalding celebrated its 30th anniversary with an afternoon of partying.
St John’s was one of 12 residential care homes owned by Country Court Care that were celebrating.
There was live music played throughout the day, a buffet and raffle, in which St John’s manager Sharon Neve won an iPad!
The home was a hive of activity, with many members of the local community attending, including representatives of the Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK, and The Respite Association.
There were also many friends and family of residents in attendance.
Country Court Care CEO Abdul Kachra said: “Our 30th anniversary party has been wonderful. The community has really engaged with the event.
“Trying to get the public through the doors to demonstrate the positive work we do can be tough, but we have certainly succeeded.
“When Country Court Care became operational in 1983, I never imagined the company would grow to this size.
“I would like to thank the staff of St John’s for their continued hard work and dedication.”
