The Boundary in Market Deeping is one of six chippies from the east of England vying to be crowned regional Independent Takeaway Fish and Chip Shop of the Year.
The six shortlisted shops will compete against each other to become eastern England’s champ and the winner will then be in contention to bag the ultimate title.
The overall winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in London next January.
Opposition comes from Worksop, Grantham, Peterborough, Wells-next-the-Sea and Gorleston.
The shortlisted six been judged on their initial entries by industry experts and subjected to mystery shop visits to secretly rate their businesses.
These shops will now be further appraised in order to establish a UK top 20 that will compete for prestigious regional titles.
