Separate accidents involving cars and horses left two people needing medical treatment yesterday.
A woman (29) was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, after two Ford Focus cars crashed on Broadgate, Weston, just before 5.50pm.
One of the cars caught fire and crews from Spalding used hose reels to put out the blaze.
Meanwhile, a rider was treated by paramedics after coming off their horse on Fengate Road, West Pinchbeck at about noon.
There was concern for people’s safety after the riderless horse was found, but it was collected safely and the rider was taken away by ambulance.
