A driver was more than three-and-a-half times the drink-drive limit when police found him.
Mark Steels (49) visited a house in Bridgewater Lane, Pinchbeck, on July 10.
Jim Clare, prosecuting, said Steels returned to his car and drank from a bottle of cider.
Police arrived a short time later and found him “slumped in the vehicle”. A test revealed 129 microgrammes of alcohol in breath – the legal limit is 35mcgs.
Steels, of Witham Bank East, Boston, was given an interim ban when he admitted drink-driving. He will be sentenced on December 19 at Spalding Magistrates’ Court.
