ABOUT 40 jobs will be created at a family pub being built on the outskirts of Bourne.
The Marston’s pub near the Elsea Park roundabout in South Road is set to open in December.
South Kesteven District Council leader Linda Neal, who represents Bourne West, said: “The job creation is brilliant.
“I think the pub will be an asset to Bourne and unlike any other facilities that we currently have.”
Neville Hyde, from Toolbar in Bourne, an organisation which helps the unemployed find work, said: “We are very pleased at new job opportunities being created in Bourne and I only hope that they go to people from the town.”
A recruitment banner for the Marston’s pub is currently hanging from a fence at the site.
