MAGISTRATES granted an energy company the power to enter a Donington pub after hearing the business owed £1,588.48.
Kevin Newman, for CNG Natural Gas, told Spalding magistrates on Thursday he would visit The Black Swan in High Street later that day.
He said: “Obviously we are very conscious it’s a trading business and we are trying to resolve it.
“It would be a disconnection if we can’t resolve the matter.”
Mr Newman pledged to check that the power supply serves the pub alone and no domestic property is likely to be affected.
