PUPILS celebrated their school’s 50th anniversary with a week of activities.
A team from the Sion Community spent time with the youngsters of St Norbert’s Primary School, Spalding, dancing, dramatising, singing and signing to get across the message of the week.
Headteacher Louise Yarnell said: “We focused on the message of how special the children are as God’s best creation and that we are all called by God to follow a special plan he has for us.
“All the children found their times with the team very thought-provoking and moving and it has been a pleasure to see all children involved with the Mission regardless of their nationality, ability or age.”
The children all took home a fridge magnet that had been blessed by Bishop Malcolm McMahon.
Each magnet carried a message and the children were encouraged to give the magnet to someone who they felt needed to hear the message.
