South Holland businesses that spread the word with excellence are to be recognised at this year’s Enterprise Day and Business Awards.
The event hosted by Spalding and District Chamber of Commerce to showcase the best of business in the area features six awards to be presented at Springfields Events and Conference Centre, Spalding, on November 20.
They include best use of IT and communication for the firm that has most successfully introduced new technology and improved communications with customers and suppliers.
It also applies to the firm gaining the most benefits from using new technology in terms of new services, new markets and existing contacts.
The award is being sponsored by South Holland District Council whose Economic Development Unit is backing the event.
Senior economic development officer Nigel Burch said: “We are very pleased to be associated with the event and sponsoring the best use of IT and communication category – a vitally important part of any enterprise.
“We would urge as many businesses as possible to get involved with the competition which highlights the good work going on in our district.”
