Lola Coupland (pictured above) was one of more than 100 youngsters who enjoyed a fun-filled open day at Rainbow Nursery in Long Sutton to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
The nursery laid on a whole host of family attractions on Saturday in an event to also celebrate ten years at its current home on the Peele Community College site.
Parents who used to attend the nursery reminisced with a display of old photos, and there was singing from local woman Ria Woods.
Visitors also enjoyed free games and competition stalls, such as hook-a-duck and egg and spoon races, and there was face painting, tattoos, a bouncy castle and entertainment from Cappa the Clown in the Peele Leisure Centre next door. There was also a raffle, goodie bags for all the children and a disco in the evening.
Manager Mandy Walton said they were lucky with the dry weather and the day couldn’t have gone any better.
She said: “Parents were saying how well the day had gone, which was lovely. I’d like to thank everyone who attended for making the day so special for us.” Photo (TIM WILSON) SG210913-189TW
